Magnentius not Magnementius.

Looks like one of the votive coins but try as hard as I can I still only see one victory when there is usually two holding the inscription between them.

Is this double struck or over struck by any chance?

The 2 letter exergue could be Rome or Trier. Maybe some others?

Are Magnentius coins rare and expensive?
It turns out that exactly the coin of Magnentius was in the lot of the uncleaned and unattributed Roman coins that I have acquired recently. And my Magnentius coin was put for the attribution here some hours ago!

They're not commonly found in uncleaned lots in good condition and are worth more than a Constantine in the same condition but not really rare or expensive. Here's one that no one wants to buy for $7.

This one cost me not much more than that. It is the larger centenionalis size (22 mm) minted in Arles. It has a glossy black patina with hints of yellow and orange depending on how the light strikes it. You can find good deals if you are patient.

I probably paid too much at $32 but I wanted the horseback reverse which is a bit more scarce.

Another nice example like you I don't always pay what the coin is worth, I tend to go crazy when I really want a coin. My brain freezes and My finger keeps hiting the bid know button.
