Shannon, Eric Brock's wife, emailed to let me know Eric (commodus) suffered a major heart attack on Thursday.  His prognosis is uncertain.  Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.  Thanks, Joe

I had open heart surgery 11 years ago, its amazing what the doctors can do now a days :)

And, yes, I just checked: he is my fellow Louisianan.  Louisiana may not be good for everything, but we do have good hospitals and doctors, and I hope he is in one of the best of them.
