Sear 158? with two pellets
« on: November 14, 2011, 07:54:40 am »
Hi-

This follis looks like Sear 158 only there are two pellets on the reverse - one above the star on the left and one below the cross on the right.  Does anyone have information on this variety and what the pellets signify?

Thanks

Colin

This is Sear 161, which can come, I think, with either a plain star or a 'pellet over star' to the left of the large M. The device on the right of the M is usually described as a 'cross on globe'.

Thanks Bill.  I seemed to have overlooked that one
