How to date those?
« on: October 09, 2011, 08:38:54 pm »
Dear Friends

Attached:

Sikyonia, Sikyon, AR Drachm 5.7g 21mm
Dove alighting left :GreeK_Sigma: - I/ Dove flying left; E above tail feathers; all within olive wreath

I was wondering how one dates those. I have seen various dates for those.

Thanks in advance

Maybe I should have uploaded this to the Greek Coins section. Can anyone date this?

HGC 5 dates it c. 340 - 335 BC.
It is listed as number 208, and
referred to BCD Peloponnesos 223 - 226.
