HI,

I THINK WHAT YOU HAVE IS A DENAR OF OTTO I (936-973), AS GERMAN KING MINTED IN COLOGNE.  REFERENCE IS DANNENBERG 331.  OBVERSE IS CROSS WITH LEGEND OF " :<a href='../numiswiki/view.asp?key=cross' target='_blank'>cross</a>: OTTO REX".  REVERSE IS LEGEND "S COLONIA AG" (SANCTA COLONIA AGRIPPINA).  THE FLAN IS SMALLER THAN THE DIE ON ALOT OF EARLY GERMAN COINAGE AND MOST SLIGHTLY OFF CENTER.  HOPE THIS HELPS.
