Is the coin original or is it a fake of modern times?

And: When was date of coinage?

This certainly looks authentic in its timeframe, but an immitation using base metal as a core and gold on the outside. Although I think I can read 'MONETA" on the reverse (anti-clockwise, inward out) I can not read a placename, nor the name of the emitting sovereign.
