I have looked over the identification pages. I think I've narrowed it down to constantinvs AVG PT  ???

I can make out the letters on the face, as ; NV AGV PT      SPOTAG  (I think)
Cannot make out what is written on the reverse.

Anyone have any ideas please ? I cannot find a coin with a similar face and reverse.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Yes, I think you have put me in the right direction, I looked at your link and typed in Antoninus Pius into the coin catalogue.
this link below is almost identical to my coin as far as I can see

Yes , just like that.

I dug it up a few days ago. But i don't think its in very good condition. I have ordered some bronze disease treatment .

Does it have bronze disease? Doesn't really stand out in the photo if it does. It would be light green, powdery and scrape off with your fingernail fairly easily. There are a couple small spots that look possible in the picture but it's hard to tell.

Then maybe not.  The bits that are showing up purple are the worst. Seems like corrosion of some sort.  Is it worth getting it cleaned ?

After, cleaning the rim gently with a scalpel , it appears to be made of Silver  !

Do I carry on, very carefully cleaning it ? or do I leave it  "AS IS"

It's not silver. It's a sesterius made of brass. There is nothing to clean, it has a broken patina with some large corrosion holes, this is as good as it is going to be.
