Carthaginian Coins in Britain Research 2
« on: February 16, 2011, 02:03:27 pm »
Dear List,

I hope my request for the following papers isn't too difficult.  Both are short, but aren't the easiest to come by.  The Cheshire Archaeological Bulletin, for instance, was discontinued many years ago.

1.  Laing, L. 1968: "A Greek tin trade with Cornwall?," Cornish Archaeology 7, pp. 15–23.

2.  Laing, L. 1983: "A Mediterranean trade with Wirral in the Iron Age," Cheshire Archaeological Bulletin 9, pp. 6–8.

Any help or suggestions in obtaining a photocopy or scan of the above papers would be greatly appreciated!  I would be more than willing to reimburse the time, effort, and postage it would take to do this.  Alternatively, I would also be open to purchasing copies of the actual journals they appeared in if the price isn't too steep.

Does anyone have a comment on the scholarship of Lloyd Laing?

Best regards,
