Difficult Mint Mark on Fel Temp (Constantius II?) II
« on: December 18, 2010, 12:20:34 am »
Hello,

I have a series of three mint marks that are giving me some trouble.
They are all for little bronze AE4 Fel Temp soldier spearing captive series.

This one ends in Q
It looks like an N precedes it.
And there is an M in the upper left field.

Thanks for any help!
Kevin

Maybe Rome.

R dot Q the mint mark.

The Rome mintmark makes the most sense, though I cannot this with an M in the left field.
I looked through Helvetica's RIC Fel Temp list and could not find any mintmark ending in Q with an M in left field.

Ideas?
