Caracalla (Reply #215-18, with additional links), I suggest that this
reverse die for
Septimius Severus features
Tyche Euposia as well; it is apparently not represented in
Varbanov or in Hristova-Jekov, although Hr-J 6.14.38.11 does approximate this
reverse legend but then pictures a non-matching coin. The same
reverse die (infant
Ploutos represented though not noted) was used with a
Caracalla obverse for
Pfeiffer,
Markianopolis 92. As with Commodus'
Tyche Euposia (Reply #218), it appears that the minuscule
Ploutos was too hard to carve for some die-cutters. From Ken Dorney's recent
