KC, your collection is real joy

As I keep watching your wonderful collection develop, I’m getting inspired.  Keep it up and you might encourage this 'denarii guy' to acquire some sestertii.

Fantastic specimen KC. That portrait is outstanding and the patina is great.

Andreas,

Wow, that is gorgeous!

Is the reverse supposed to be blank?

You got 5/5 from me!

Fantastic little coin! As you know, the griffin was very rarely featured on Roman Imperial coinage. I can come up with about 5 issues within the whole span of Imperial coinage off the top of my head, of which this little coin is one. I'm always on the hunt for a nice one myself. Bravo!  +++
