Polemon II of Pontus
« on: May 07, 2012, 08:39:56 pm »
Just a quick question.  Is Polemon II (Marcus Antonius Polemon Pythodoros) of Pontus the same as Polemo II?   The dates seem to match up but I wanted to be sure.  Polemon II is a descendant of Mark Antony through his wife  Antonia Hybrida Minor, so Antony's great grandson.  I'm tracking down all the coins of Antony's family since legionary denarii have got so out of hand lately.  So is the name interchangeable or are they two different people?

Thanks!

I believe I've answered my own question.  Yes they are the same person.
