First determine an appropriate search word or phrase users would most likey use to find your new article (a key word, key phrase, or the article title). After you have determined the best search word or phrase, search for it using the
NumisWiki search function. If a page already exists for that term or phrase, you can add your article to the existing page. If no page exists you can click on "Click here to create a new page with the page title..." to create a new page. The new page will use the search word or phrase you selected as the page name (URL extension). After the new page is created you can add your article to the newly created page.
When the
NumisWiki page title is typed on the
discussion board,
Forum's
shop catalog or elsewhere in
NumisWiki it will automatically create a link to the
NumisWiki page. For example typing
Augustus in a
discussion board post will automatically create a link to the
NumisWiki Augustus page. If you choose a URL that is long (a multiple word article title, for example) it isn't likely that it will get many incoming links. A single keyword is most often ideal for ensuring visibility of an article.
