I am not sure whether this coin is a Constantine or Crispus Campgate. The quality is not wonderful. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Hi,

I think it's Constantius II as caesar from Thesalonica, SMTS with an uncertain officina letter. RIC VII Thes 158 I believe.

Regards,

Mauseus

many thanks Mauseus! I still find it difficult to track down details, I can mange the exergue and emperor but don't get much further than that.

I find this site very useful...

You can browse by reverse or emperor and then click at the bottom of the page for an excel file which really helps to attribute.
