a friend of mine sent me two pictures about this strange coin. Could you please tell me what  it exactly is? Thank you!

Not my area of collecting but looks like a coin from Thessaly?  It would help if you gave size and weight

Looks like a copy of a Sicilian piece, apparently a copy of
a Kimonian-type facing head tetradrachm from Syracuse.

i agree, it looks like a replica of Kimon's facing head Arethusa obverse with charioteer being crowned by Nike reverse.
the original is one of the most beautiful coins ever struck!
