Should I clean this?

This denarius needs cleaning but should I leave it alone? It seems that cleaning may reduce the contrast of the coin's features and enhance its porosity. What do you think?

I don't see that 'cleaning ' would do anything for this coin, it might stand a little buffing with a soft cloth, but nothing else.

Yes i second that. nice looking coin. original looking coin too. sometimes its off putting to see one buffed up to a shine. i would leave alone. very nice as it is.

I wished my "cleaned" ones would turn out half as nice!   :)

In response to Akropolis, it is solid silver, very debased---

I cleaned a debased silver one once using the lemon juice - foil method.  Turned out a very nice shiny silver - which lasted about a day - it is now a coppery color that looks like gold to the people I show it to.   :)
