I seem to have a knack for finding cool sandy patina coins for the Constantine family.  I do not go out of my way to find them, they just make their way to me!  ;D

I just picked-up this literally little Marcian.  It has a nice monogram, a decent portrait, and good legends on the obverse.

Nice!

Here is an example of my amber inclusions. It is a bristletail (Archaeognatha). The specimen in the amber is probably Machilis diastatica from the Eocene.

The amber comes from my old homeland. That's the reason that I have a special relation to amber.

Best regards

I have been unable to add many coins to my collection recently, but managed to score this beauty recently and thought I'd share it.

Thanks JC! I have not been away from coins entirely, just dabbling a little more in artifacts instead of coins.

I picked up this cool little Greek lead sling bullet.  I also recently acquired this Egyptian Mace Head.  Talk about a couple of skull crackers...Ouch!

Love the sling!  I want a Roman one, preferably one from the battle of Mutina with some insults for Octavian on them!  ;D

Jay, I do hope you can find one, because I'd like to see it!  I have been bitten by the artifact bug recently.  I do have a couple of coins I plan to post soon.  Thanks for looking!

Someone interested in a real sling. Not Roman but Nazca.
And a question. Would it be possible  to put up for sale antiquities in Forums auctions.?.

I   would IM Joe S. and ask.  I sell things through him on consignment.  It might take longer, but the price is much better than auction.
