Gordian III facing left from Deultum in Thrace, with a hard-to-decipher type (likely Serapis*) on the reverse; a light olive-oil rub might bring out more detail so that we could ID this more positively.

   * See this similar specimen with a right-facing obverse in WildWinds:

Not especially rare with right-facing obverse, but the type isn't listed with left-facing obverse in Varbanov's Bulgarian _Greek Imperial Coins_; if it's also omitted from his expanded English edition, then you do have something of a rarity.  But there are a lot of uncommon Greek Imperial coins which nobody seems eager to pay much for, if that's an issue here.

The radiate left-facing bust holding spear and shield is certainly rare on Gordian's larger coins at Deultum.

Varbanov 2866 illustrates only one such coin: probably from the same obverse die as yours, with a different reverse type, Victory standing left.

Your coin is undoubtedly rare, but because of the corroded condition nevertheless of low commercial value.

Can you give us the size and weight of your coin?
