Happy Birthday Peter and Happy Birthday to Craig as well! Thanks Areich !!! Took the day off from work and went through some boxes of stuff I have laying around. I took a bunch of better pieces to the bank and put them in the safe deposit box, but I also found about two dozen or more others that I haven't yet gotten around to writing up and putting in envelopes.....gotta get better organized !!! Eric, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!I hope yours was as nice as mine! Spent friday evening and all day today with my wife  Left the kids at home  We saw REO Speedwagon and Styx in concert, What a great show! We stayed at a motel, had some nice meals and took a beautiful drive in the mountains, saw some beautiful Fall colors. It was a perfect day in the mid to high 60 deg.F. Had some nice visits with relatives. To top it all off, when I got home there were a couple coins in the mailbox  A bronze and silver jital. Again, I hope you had a wonderful day! Best regards, Steve

Eric, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!I hope yours was as nice as mine! It was great! My wife gave me a denarius of Claudius ( RIC 34) and took me out for prime rib for dinner. I also had a couple of coins which I had bought recently show up in the mailbox, though they pale beside the Claudius denarius. An excellent birthday! |

thank you everyone! i had a great time. we went camping (BOY did i need that!) and did a little gold-mining. good friends, good food, and lots of beer! (good beer, of course! ). and while we were sitting around the campfire on Friday night i was given a new coin, so it was a terrific weekend all around.
