A new legend variant or a correction

Caracalla & Julia Domna, AD 198-217
AE 28, 15.51g, 30°
struck under governor Quintilianus
obv. ANTWNINOC AVGOVCTOC IOVLIA DOMNA CE
Confronted busts of Caracalla, bearded, laureate, r., and Julia Domna, draped, l.
rev. VP KVNTILIANOV MARKIANOPOLIT - WN (small)
Apollo (or Bonus Eventus), nude, stg. facing, head l., holding branch in l. hand and
patera in r. hand over flaming altar
E in upper left field (for pentassarion)
about VF, brown patina, light roughness
ref. a) AMNG I/1, 664 (4 ex., Paris, Philippopolis, Sofia,Wien); this type is known too without
         CE or with CEBA!
     b) Varbanov (engl.) 1002 (citing AMNG 664)
     c) Hristova/Jekov 6.19.7.5 var. (citing AMNG 664, but writing 6.19.7.4 accidentally!)
Hristova/Jekov has obv. legend without CE. DOMNA without CE is - referring to AMNG
         - known from Philippopolis. But here the pictured coin is so worn that I cannot decide
wether it has CE or not. If not we have a new legend variant.

A new bust type and a legend variant

Elagabal, AD 218-222
AE 25, 6.58g
struck under governor Julius Antonius Seleucus
obv. AVT.K.M.AVRH - ANTWNEINOC (C square)
       Head, laureate, r.
rev. VP.IOVL.ANT.CELE - VKOV MARKIANOPO / LITWN
Homonoia, in long garment, stg. l., holding cornucopiae in l. arm and patera in r. hand
      over flaming altar l.
ref. a) not in AMNG:
         obv. AMNG I/1, 860
rev. AMNG I/1, 860 var. (legend only, but has LITWN with ligate WN)
depiction not in AMNG, cf. #858
      b) not in Varbanov (engl.):
cf. #1532, but has different legends and different bust (draped and cuirassed)
      c) not in Hristova/Jekov:
rev. No.6.26.36.4 var. (has T - WN in fields)
the portait on the obv. with the two deep indentations of the lower bust line I couldn't
find. So I think it is a new bust type.
ex coll. Hoeft

Yes, a new bust type. It's the same portrait wit the crushed boxer nose like that from #20 above. And it has the same die break beneath the lower bust line, so it seems to be from the same obv. die (attached).

A new rev. type

Elagabal, AD 218-222
AE 27, 9.9g, 165°
struck under governor Julius Antonius Seleucus
obv. AVT KM AVRHLIOC - ANTWNEINOC (C square)
Bust, draped and cuirassed, laureate, r.
rev. VP IOVL ANT CELE - VKOV MARKIANOPOL / ITWN (WN ligate)
Female deity, in long garment, stg. l., holding patera in extended r. hand and
resting with l. hand on long torch(!)
ref. a) not in AMNG:
obv. AMNG I/1, 817 var. (has dots between the letters)
rev. not in AMNG; AMNG 813, pl.XIV, 2 has clearly a knob atop the scepter!
      b) not in Varbanov (engl.)
      c) not in Hristova/Jekov:
No.6.26.3.4-6 has different obv. legends, different rev. legend and no torch at
          all!
very rare, F+/about VF, stripped
ex coll. Hoeft

The most likely seeming, with a torch, with young woman's hairdo, is Kore / Persephone. Pat Lawrence
Kore / Persephone is not listed for Markianopolis!

struck under governor Flavius Ulpianus
obv. [AVT KM AVRH?] -  ANTWNINOC
Bust, draped and cuirassed, laureate, r.
rev. V FL OVLPIANOV MARKIAN[OPOLIT]
Eagle, wings half opened, stg. frontal on base, head r. with wreath in beak
ref. a) AMNG I/1, 626 var. (has AV KM AVR, but here I think I can see AVT and the
          legend seems to be longer)
      b) Varbanov (engl.) 946 var. (cites AMNG 626, but has only POLI!)
      c) not in Hristova/Jekov:
          rev. No.6.18.1.12 (depiction only)
obv. No.6.18.31.4 (portrait only, legend seems to be different!)

struck under governor Umbrius Tereventinus
obv. AVT KM AVR CEV ALEZANDR[OC]
        Head, laureate, r.

ref. a) AMNG I/1, 1039 (2 ex., Athen, Venice)

           rather #1712 corr.!)
     c) not in Hristova/Jekov:
         no eagle listed for Tereventinus!

A variant of #57 with a different obv. legend

Elagabal, AD 218-222
AE 26, 9.03g, 25.9mm, 0°
struck under governor Antonius Seleucus
obv. AVT KM AVRHLIOC - ANTWNEINOC
Bust, draped and cuirassed, laureate, r.
rev. VP.IOVL.ANT CEL - EVKOV MARKIANOPO / LITWN
Nemesis, in long garment, stg. l., holding rod in l. arm and scales in r. hand; l. at her feet the wheel.
ref. a) AMNG I/1, 840, pl. XVIII, 25 (4 ex., 2x München, Paris, Sofia; breaks as on ex. 2 and 4)
      b) Varbanov (engl.) 1581 (cites AMNG 840; writes parazonium instead of rod)
      c) not in Hristova/Jekov; should be inserted as No.6.26.35.10 var.
ex coll. Hoeft

Pick writes: The rod in the l. arm of the goddess has sometimes (like here too) knots and spikes and can't be called cubit. Perhaps it is an instrument for penalization like the scourge.
