Edit: This coin has been condemned by John Wrenn in Forvm under Roman Provincial Coins: "Cast fake, combining an obverse of Caracalla under Faustinianus with a reverse of Philip II, Hristova/Jekov p. 236, bottom coin (same rev. die)."

Jochen

This coin is 100 % fake.

Mrs. Hristova has mailed me that now the 2nd edition of Markianopolis should be edited. Therefore from now on new coins in this thread can't be considered for this 2nd edition. I think it will be on market at the end of this year. We have found 431 new types and between them 91 completely new types. Thanks for contributions!

But the Addenda I think can be continued.

Best regards

Hello!  I am actually still around,  Jochen, could you also send me a link for Hristova so I can get the 2nd edition!  Is there a new edition for NadI also in development?
