well, if you are familiar with the movie you may recall the final scene where Anthony Perkins' character
Norman Bates (who is completely insane) is seated in a chair in a padded cell, unmoving and staring forward while a fly buzzes around
his head.
we hear him thinking about how he knows that
they are watching him, but he isn't going to move, not even to swat the fly. then
they will think "he's so harmless he wouldn't even hurt a fly".
yeah i know it's a stretch, but that's the way my mind works.
but yanno, i've always thought that Anthony Perkins would have made a
good Roman emperor. he was quirky enough, and that kind of deeply rooted pyschotic paranoia could only have been an advantage, no?
