Not great condition, but not a fake either. Id say 9.99$ is about all Id pay for it too.

Completely real and not out of line, price-wise, though the starting price seems pretty close to what I would think it should fetch.

At least some of the lettering is there. It would be a nice pocket piece, in that if you lose it, you won't need to cry.  Joe

I agree.  I'd pay 10 bucks for that and use it as a card marker next time I head to Caesar's in Vegas.

That's a pretty nice coin even if 'great' is not an official grade.
Do you even get two coffees at Starbucks for $10?

I use the “Great condition” as  “Sarcasm”
See what looks like a 100% knowingly selling fakes:
Buying as a fake:

and selling as authentic:

Not even bother to have different IDs.
And is not only this one, buying mostly fakes and re-sale as authentic.
With some $2 un-cleaned or over-cleaned junks for cover.

But how is that sarcasm? It's a nice coin with a very good portrait.
If it wasn't offered by a crook it would be a good deal even with the $8 shipping.

“nice coin with a very good portrait
Different people different opinions, for some maybe nice for some maybe just over-cleaned junk.
The point was to look at the rest of the offerings, and seems that no one catch all the junk for sale.
This is 100% fake seller candidate, and you have proof that he is knowingly selling fakes.

Yes, you are right, but the fact that he is also a known seller of fakes doesn't change the fact that this appears to be a legitimate coin.

That may be interesting, but this coins looks fine. And I also agree about the fact that it's actually nice (for the price, apart from shipment cost).

I think the general rule is "discuss the coin - not the seller" and this coin is real.

Hi,

Certainly not a "great condition" sestertius, but the portrait is decent, and I'm quite sure I've sometimes paid more for worse.

Regards
Potator

PS : many other items from this particular seller are ugly

Which makes this coin look even better in contrast.  ;D
