What do you guys think about this coin?  I've seen several coins of this type with rough surfaces.  Is this rough or a cast?

I don't see any bubbles and I would think there would be some with all the crevices in the hair and beard on the obverse.  The reverse looks like a weak strike.

Thoughts?

Acid cleaned?
In any case, I tend to avoid this kind of coins because it's too hard (to me) to understand if they are cast or not. I'm curious to listen to some experts' opinions.

It wound up selling for uner $300.  Great deal if it's real.  I wasn't willing to bid that high on a coin that I couldn't touch and that I had questions on.  Looking at the sellers' other stuff I think his stuff is just harshly cleaned.  But on the other hand, I've seen other presumably legit coins with porous and/or rough surfaces.
