Round 9 DAMNATIO POLL
« on: February 23, 2008, 02:36:07 pm »
Vote for the unluckiest entry.  The Damnatio prize is an Athens Tetradrachm (approximately $300 retail value) or $100 FORVM credit, winner's choice.  Polls close 7 March.

Oh, why couldn't you have sent me some slugs this round? I couldn't even get my own vote here with that bunch you sent me.

Somebody voted for me just to be contrarian. But it just occurred to me: When the damnatio prize is so fantastic, only the unluckiest person in the world would get coins as nice as I got.  Maybe I can still win after all. Is there a rule against one person winning both damnatio and providentia in the same round?

Sid, perhaps the person who voted for you mistranslated Damnatio to "Damn, he got lucky."

The Damnatio Prize has arrived safe and sound.

Athena and her owl look even better in hand than they do in the photo.  :afro:

Thanks again!
