as the control marks at the left edge of the
reverse are obliterated it's going to be hard to nail this one down specifically but it bears a more than passing resemblance to some entries in SNGIsrael (Spaer) of Antiochos III. #561-2 from
Antioch and/or #786-91 from Ecbatana.
perhaps the find location of this coin can be determined which would
help distinguish the
type given that the identifying marks that would pin it down better are apparently corroded and
pitted away.
suffice it to say there are a whole slew of Antiochos III bronzes of similar size and
weight with these basic design features. don't feel bad thought - several of the pieces in Spaer attributed to Ecbatana have the control marks worn away. probably worth a look at Spaer or
CSE or SC (v1) if you want to really nail it by comparing detailed
portrait style, etc.
