« on: November 23, 2007, 05:00:22 pm »
no ideal  who this is ,  I've been looking at vespasians coins,  but cannot find a match  LOL  not even sure if it is a galley on the reverse ( I hope it is,  or I have wasted 2 hours of my coin time  LOL  )

the coin  as stated in the subject  is 22 mm  4.7 grams   and is AE with sand patina   from an unclean lot

any help would be appreciated

Looks like a coin of Demetrios I or II (Seleukid King) from the mint of Tyre.
