OK, I've gotten this far

Probus Silvered Antoninianus with some silvering remaining on reverse

Obverse:
radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right
Legend: IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG

Reverse:
Looks like Pax? but legend doesn't seem to match

"S" on right field so assuming Siscia Mint
XXI at bottom

Help for a noob would be greatly appreciated

Obv:– IMP C M AVR PROBVS AVG, Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from the rear
Rev:– PROVIDE AVG, Providentia standing left, holding globe and sceptre.
Minted in Siscia (S in right field, XXI in exe) Emission 1 Officina 2. A.D. 276
Reference:– RIC 716 Bust type C. Alföldi, Type 51, nº 2

Here is my example for comparison:-

Note that there isn't PF AVG on your coin either.

Regards,
Martin

It is my pleasure. It may be of additional interest to note that these examples show the bust of Florian, which was being used when Probus came to power and before they know what Probus looked like. This was a common practice as was the re-use of reverses from the previous emperor.

Martin
