Hi James

This is an Ayyubid fals, I think this one http://mehmeteti.150m.com/ayyubids/413.htm
from Al-Zahir Giyath ad-Din Ghazi (582-613 AH, 1186-1216 AD), but I will check in Balog when I get home tonight.

Best wishes

Alan

Allen is right this is minted at Aleppo by al-Zahir Ghazi between the year 603 to 612 AH.

Hi James

It is Balog 671, dated 604 H (1207-8 AD). It is definitely Aleppo mint, though the mint name is off your coin.

Best wishes

Alan
