The RIC
« on: July 02, 2007, 02:45:07 pm »
I was wondering if there is an internet site that lists all or most of the RIC entries? I know wildwinds.com lists many but there are still a lot of holes. Is wildwinds as good as it gets when it comes to an online RIC catalog?

There is no online RIC as such but here:

http://www.catbikes.ch/coinstuff/coins-ric.htm

you can find EXCEL spreadsheets for the common types of late Romans.
You should ALWAYS use them, they allow you to identify coins quickly and easily even if you can't read
everything.

The Excel sheets form Dane are limited as to scope, but they go beyond RIC. If you find unlisted coins that should fit, but are not listed, a simple feedback to Dane will get them added. You should verify with others here on Forum and make sure it they are not listed first.
