Hi all!

Am attaching a scan of a Sheng Zu piece... it cane with a lot of late empire/early republic issues. I assume Board of Revenue... 2 dot Tong.. I am also assuming H-22.85.  Coin is 28 mm in diameter.

And does it look authentic to you all?  (That should start some discussion!! ;D )

Thanks for the post, Epmunt!

I think mine is closer to your second picture. Yes, Kang Xi (Sheng Zu). Can you confirm the Hartill number? That's really what I'm looking for - Sometimes I have doubts about my abilities with that!!!! :-[

And, of course, the coin looks good to me!

Hello, Sorry I don't use Hartill number.  But I am pretty sure that your coin is the most common one, billions of mintage.
All " Hu Bu" mint Kang Xi are below 50 cents in China. So 2 dot Tong or 1 dot tong of  " Hu Bu" mint has no difference.

I have a complete set of all mints of Kang Xi, when i have time I will scan and share with you.
