Hi there,
I've looked around for this in old threads but have not been able to find it... If this has already been addressed, my apologies...
Long soakings in olive oil, as everyone knows,
work fine with most uncleaneds. However, I find that, once cleaned, the coins end up usually very dark. Looking at my folders, I see at first sight mostly black circles in
flips which become identifiable once I look at them more closely. Is there a way to make them less dark? Is there any product I can use (that's not "cheating", i.e., repatinating stuff) to liven up my
collection? Or, even, to freshen up the
patina colours?
Thanks! Regards,
Ignasi
