Hi Dave

Possibly :-\ an 8 marvedis of Philip III from Cuenca (if the mark to the left of the shield on the reverse is a goblet), but that is just a guess really  ;D

I don't think it is an 8 Marvedis, more likely a 2 or 4 Marvedis.  The 8 Marvedis were much better struck then this coin, at least you usually see more of the legend on the 8 Marvedis.
