Just put up a page on what appears to be the most active counterfeit ancient coin workshop in Bulgaria, center of ancient coin forgery:

The best reference on these remains Ilya Prokopov's 2004 book Contemporary Coin Engravers and Coin Masters from Bulgaria. But as this page indicates, it appears that the Lipanoff people were the source for the Black Sea Hoard and New York Hoard scams, and much else.
