Greetings Alex,

Your first purchase is a nice coin indeed with some great history. A great way to start what can very fast turn into an addiction.

If you have the time stop on by my website about my collection. There are not many coins there but it is a start. If you have any questions about the Saxon stuff please let me know and I will do my best to answer them. Also there is a Yahoo discussion group about English hammered coins that has some great people that are very knowledgeable about Saxon as well as other aspects of hammered coins form England. You can find out more about it on my website. The URL for my website is:

http://www.sortore.com/coins

If you do visit it please let me know what you think of the collection and the site.

Cheers,

Timothy

Greetings Alex,

Glad that you liked the site. The folks over at Wikipedia did not and thought I was spaming them when I put links to it on their articles about hammered coins and groats.

Cheers,

Timothy
