I am no expert but the top image shows an Ottoman tagma or calligraphic signature so it must be Ottoman.

I will leave it to others to fill in the details.

Hi

Ottoman AR Para Qstantaniyye mint, I am not too sure of the date but it may be 1223AH which makes it of the time of Mahmud II and the regnal year is 9. Check the date for me in hand. Obverse bottom if you see 2 symbols that looks the same and the last one somewhat similar. "223".

Dear Shawn

Its an Ottoman Tugra.

Best wishes,
burak

Hi,

It's late 18-th or 19-th century AR ottoman coin, but the year is not clear, so we may get closer,
if the weight is known, there are many similar looking ottoman coins of the period.
It looks a bit like a billon too..

Yes, most likely. What nominal ? gumush grosh, gumush onlik?...
Hard to say with no weight present...
Could it also be a Selim III coin?

I already said it. it is certainly an AR Para

There is no such thing as gümüsh grosh. You mean AR Kurush. But its not.

Best wishes,
Burak

Burak,

Yes, tugra, not tagma.  Thanks for the correction.

Shows the memory gets rusty, but I was close for a non-Turkish speaker, eh?

;)
