hi,

I have just discovered a beautyful coin among a lot of uncleaned:



It looks on my hand far better than on the picture. on the reverse I dont know whether this is a person or just a tower. My first guess was phoenician...but which one exactly?

Size: around 19mm

Any opinions?

greek letters are not my best discipline :-(

Maybe this one (?):

AE 22 of Laodikea, Syria.
     References: Sear GC 5879 , or BMC 14 var.; RPC 4393
     Obv. Turreted head of Tyche right.
     Rev. Tyche standing left, holding in right hand, rudder, in left,
     cornucopiae.
But i think the letters are not greek, maybe Phoenician or Aramaic.
