Greek -- Alexander the Great -- AE-18???
« on: January 14, 2007, 11:30:42 am »
I'm a Roman Republic collector who happened to come across a few I just couldn't help but pass up.    Has anyone seen this coin before and know how to attribute it?  Any ideas what it sells for?  I bought a lot of them and this one seems to be the nicest.

Much appreciated!!!

It's Macedonia, probably Price 323, a lifetime issue.
These come come up in abundant numbers and fetch in the region of $20 - not a very big deal, but nice to have.
