Hi;
I guess i can read on the first side[Obv.??] and in anticlockwise the name of 3 Caliphats:omar-Ali-Othman---
On the 2nd side[Rev.??]:Shah...
I don't think it's Ayyubid coin....and the year is off flan...

Hi Nassif,

I find this coin among Mamluk falsed and fractional dirchams. But this coin it totally out of style of Mamluk coins, so, my first guess was Ayyubid.
Do you think that these are names of three first caliphs Omar, Ali and Othman and not the name of one ruler?

Hi explorer and Nassif
This is apparently an Ayyubid fals of al'Aziz Imad al-Din 'Uthman
589-595/1193-1198 mint of dimashq ,Balog 220, date off flan but it looks 595H.

Obv. al-Malik al-Aziz Uthman

rev. Bin al-Malik al-Nasir Yusuf

Hi;
If it's really Ayyubid,the only possibility is Balog 223 and not 220.
