AR-Tetrobolon 16 mm, 2.30 gr.

AV: Warrior with two spears prancing right, within dotted border
RV: Forepart of a lion right within an incuse square

Either the surface of the coin is a little rough I am very happy to find this lovely coin. What I read, the silver at that time was not from a high quality. It could be the reason that the surface is rough.

Early Macedonians: another category I'd collect if I could.  A beauty!  Pat L.

A very attractive piece Roland! To me early Macedonian coins have a feeling of promise. There is great confidence and style about them, as if they are saying "Watch out world- great things will come from us".
