Silver fourpence coin 1690
« on: June 05, 2006, 12:24:06 pm »
Hi all,

Could anyone tell me a bit more about this coin?
I'm mostly an ancient coin collector, so i dont know much about it.
Only thing i know for sure is that it is an English coin, but what i'd like to know are things like: who are the rulers on the coin, is it a special coin or a common one, is there an interesting story behind it etc.
Would it also be possible to tell me a catalognumber and catalogvalue please?

Thanks very much!

It is a four pence coin issued by William and Mary.
