Ho!  Robert:

Check out:  John Porteous.  Coins.  Octopus Books, London, 1964.  This has great medieval pictures and ones such as dies, minters, celatgors.

Check out.  Same author,  Coins in History.  G. P. Putnam's Sons, New York, 1969.

Lots & lotsa great pix.  If you can't find a logo here, you're blind.

Sounds promising, does anyone have these books handy where they can design a logo from any of the pics?  Or perhaps post a pic here so someone else can design a logo from it?  There are only two days left before polling starts.  I'm sorry but I can't further extend the deadline because it would then put this logo project into the very busy Annual Website Awards season, among other contests that also go on here at Forvm at the end of the year.

Thanks,

Kevin

It's not just finding it, it's converting the pic into a logo. I've got no idea, so I'll let someone else do it!

OK, the 0000 GMT 8 October 2005 deadline has passed and this submission thread is now closed.  I posted the "Medieval Studies' target='_blank'>Medieval Studies" with the Victories design from our "Numismatic Excellence" and "Classical Studies" logos below so that I can link to it in the poll that has now begun.  Please vote for your favorite design at:
