Never really expected to find this one. Most I've ever paid for a LRBC but worth it.

One of the two Constantinople coins (officina A and B) RIC 8. Very neat! Nice condition and VERY rare!
Congrats!

Yes, Frans, is correct indeed. When I was collecting Camp Gates it took me a long, long time to find one example and I was lucky to fetch it for a modest price. Yours is exceptional and has a nice desert patina, as they like to describe the surface. Like yourself, I have one workshop only, and have little desire to get the other one.
A nice pair would be to find his step mother, Fausta, from Constantinople.  She was also put to death soon after Crispus. Her coins are much easier to obtain from that mint. Thank you for sharing your coin.
Here is a picture of the other officina:

Lovely coins.

And remarkable.  Struck for such a short time and yet look at the very different styles on the two camp gates.

Though rare would be an ideal issue to study dies and engravers.

I have only been able to find 2 others online.
Here http://www.dirtyoldcoins.com/roman/id/crispus/crisp070.jpg
and  http://www.acsearch.info/image.html?id=464400

Also 1 in the plates of RIC VII shown below.
Each from a different die.
Bruck lists 2 in Vienna, anyone know how to get pics of them?

Not just a different die but again looks like a different hand.
