Committee Member Elections - Runoff? - Poll
« on: June 17, 2005, 11:22:08 pm »
Hello Everyone,

We in the Committee are putting together the election process of ourselves as you can see in another current thread calling for candidates from you, the public.

The issue of runoffs has perplexed us though so it is now before you to decide.  We have six seats on the Committee.  What if two or more candidates tie for the sixth place position or tie across that sixth-place tier (which for example could include fifth place too if three candidates tie)?  Should we hold a runoff between those candidates?  Should we admit them both/all with the understanding that the Committee will go back to six seats the next time Committee member elections are held, barring another tie in that year too?

Finally, don't forget to vote in the round of websites that are currently polling, the final one before Committee elections! :)

Thank you,
