Very interesting resource, Joe. Thank you for pointing it out. The English translation, however, occasionally leaves something to be desired, e.g. "flan" seems to be consistently translated as "pudding"  ;D

It's a sort of  cake or dessert - I'm not sure how to categorise it - involving fruit, as well as the piece of metal a coin is stamped into.

I would describe flan as a jello made with milk and cinnamon (at least here in Colombia).... ;D ;D

Very good list, great reading material... Thanks a lot.

All the ...reidgold.com/.... links should be deleted as they are no longer active and show only "page ok". The html coding also only shows a tag with the text "page ok", so it is not a programming error.

Joe, Reid Goldsboro hasn’t so much moved his site as changed the URL links which seem to be stuck in some kind of cyberspace limbo. The links on the website itself won’t work if you click them. They should have been updated too in order to link to the web pages. However, you can still directly access the web page links if you painstakingly figure out the URL addresses. What I’ve done is to bookmark the individual web pages in my notes. If you google “rg.ancients Owl Forgeries” you will see “Athenian Owl Forgeries - Coins - Coin Collecting” and can access the web page. Strangely enough, the URL addresses don’t work when I post them here. They become inoperable for some reason. I leave that one for the computer boffins to figure out.

Seems that the domain http://reidgold.com/ is parked and available for purchase.

Reid's URL now appears to be rg rather than reidgold

The Forum website is auto-correcting the new working URL to the old non-working URL when I try to put the new URL in a post I am making.

A Google search for Fake Athens Tetradrachm will bring up the correct and working new URL, but when this URL is copy and pasted into the Forum website in a post, it will be auto-corrected to the old non-working URL.

I removed the autocorrect. At one time the rg was changed to reidgold, which is why the autocorrect was added.
