I received this book in the post today, so of course I haven't yet read it. It has only just been published and the full title is "Great Women of Imperial
Rome -Mothers and Wives of the Caesars" by Jasper
Burns, published by Routledge, ISBN 978-0-415-40898-1.
It's a 348 page "softback" and it is amply illustrated with pictures of coins. The book seems to be well researched and anotated, with a
good index, bibliography and chronology.
