Ballista bolt
« on: April 13, 2021, 02:06:48 pm »
Wondering if this could be a possible ballista bolt head?
It doesn't strike me as roman but I have no clue what else this could be. Also weren't they primarily made of iron?
Length  is 8,8 cm and bronze alloy.

Curious what it may be  ???

Not sure.  Small for a bolt head.  Perhaps an arrowhead with a very long tang.

A agree it does not look Roman though.

Hard to tell which culture.

Yes, that's the only region I have seen such long tangs in too.
