Hello everyone,
I'm thinking about this coin, which I
think is Cr. 342/5b, though conceivably is 342/5a.
I have three questions really, but all interrelated.
1. Have I understood
Crawford correctly in identifying this as
obverse style C?
2.
Crawford alluded to a
hope in due course to publish a die-study of 4a-5b (p 349). Did this emerge? I haven't been able to find it with a quick look, but this may be my googling abilities letting me down.
3. Before the neck of
Apollo is a control mark. Can anyone suggest what this might be?
Best wishes
C
