Philip 2 Tetradrachm, test cut twice
« on: March 25, 2021, 02:11:50 pm »
Hi!
I have this coin, I think it is a Philip ll tetradrachm. From what I've read, the two cuts are test cuts to see if the metal is genuine silver. Anyone with more experience can tell if it is real and give a price estimate? Thank you for your consideration!

It seems to be this type minted at Pella under Philip III Arrhidaios: http://numismatics.org/pella/id/pella.philip_ii.95
