Silver antoninianus
« on: February 22, 2021, 09:03:38 pm »
This is a coin from the third century crisis holed in antiquity. I’m not familiar with the emperors of this time so I cannot really identify this coin which is worn. The obverse has the emperor radiate and the obverse Jupiter? Holding something up and spear/scepter? In other hand.  Any help is appreciated thanks.

21.2 mm

2.27 g

Best Regards,

Justin

Obverse legend starts with IMP CAES M, and I can read CON..  on the reverse.

Possibly Gordian III
